Bob is a technology and operations executive with a passion for building high performing teams and delivering measurable business impact. He has over 35 years’ experience as an executive and consultant. His areas of focus include:

  • Business transformation – leading complex change initiatives encompassing strategy, business processes, technology and organizational adoption.
  • Organizational performance improvement – diagnosing and fixing performance issues. Examples are improving shared service organization delivery while reducing costs, implementing corporate growth strategies, and fine-tuning technology and procedure alignment to improve benefit realization.
  • M&A integration – leading operations and technology integration planning and execution for acquisitions and carve-outs.
  • Technology management – aligning IT with company strategies, goals and priorities, modernizing IT infrastructure and operations.

Bob has been a Partner at Andersen Consulting & Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, VP of Consulting at Perot Systems, Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal and Senior Director of Business Consulting at Tribridge. His executive experience includes CIO/IT executive roles at Bruno’s Supermarkets, the Heinz Service Company and Westinghouse Electric and he was the Executive Director of Financial Shared Services for North America at General Motors.

As a consultant Bob has worked with a wide range of clients, including Staples, Catalina Marketing, Burger King, CVS Pharmacies, Valero Energy, BMC Software, Georgia Gulf, Genuine Parts, TRW Automotive, Dupont, Weirton Steel, Par Tech, Team Industrial Services, Commercial Vehicle Group, Ingram Micro and Solera.

Bob has extensive experience working with private equity companies leading diligence, acquisition integration, organizational transformation and performance improvement projects. Bob has worked with large public companies, leading projects to streamline operations, reduce costs, integrate acquisitions, develop and implement technology strategies and resolve organizational performance issues. He has worked with middle market companies to modernize information technologies, to standardize and streamline processes and organizational performance and to improve profitability. He has worked with startups and rapidly growing companies to create and implement business plans, commercialize products and services and acquire funding.

Bob was previously the Board Chair of TechStart, a foundation that provided access, education and scholarships to at-risk youth in the Tampa Bay area to enable them to pursue technology-based training and education. Bob earned a Bachelor of Mechanical engineering degree from Youngstown State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
