Dr. Margetis helps Ideasphere clients improve their financial management practices, as well as their overall financial performance through his academic knowledge of Finance and Accounting, his real world expertise from consulting with clients,and his deep understanding of SAP financials. Speros has worked with Ideasphere since 2009 and has been an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Tampa since 2002, where he continues to teach a variety of courses including Alternative Investment Strategies, International Finance, and Applied Corporate Finance using SAP.

In addition to his teaching schedule, and the consulting work he performs for our clients, he conducts research in the areas of private equity, corporate finance, and international finance. He has published his research in a variety of journals including the Journal of Private Equity,Journal of Financial Education, Journal of Instructional Techniques in Finance,Multinational Financial Management Journal,Journal of Finance Case Research, and Managerial Finance. Speros has significant expertise in SAP’s ERP Financials platform and he helps firms maximize their return on investment in this platform through more efficient utilization of the features and tools available through SAP.
Speros earned his BS degree in Finance from the University of Florida and his MBA and Ph.D. in the same field from the University of South Florida and has completed several programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology including the Entrepreneurship Development Program, Fundamentals of Finance for the Technical Executive, and Developing &Managing a Successful Technology &Product Strategy.
